The monitor and the pc are not a single device, therefore when starting the PC, there needs to be specific lighting patterns to help users understand if boot up is successful

Setup guide illustrations
To help some users complete initial setup I designed a series of graphic stickers on the outside and outside of the case. These helped guide users to correct placement of wires and hardware.

Understanding range of motion
As the stand needed to support a wide range of user heights while also maintaining a minimal appearance, I dug into our human factors and ergonomics databases to understand the 10th to 90th percentile of user heights.

Opening the back for setup and service
As the case with the PC mounted inside is quite heavy the back latch needed to unlatch without resetting to a locked state. My design is a new latch architecture that is simple and easy and allows users to first unlatch then to lift the case without needing to keep a finger on the latch.
